A Webinar of SAARC Psychiatric Federation (SPF) on SAFEGUARDING HUMAN RIGHTS & DIGNITY IN OLDER PERSONS: VOICES from THE SAARC on 4th March, 2022 in support of AGE WITH RIGHTS – GLOBAL RALLY 2022. Ms Mahua Moitra, Hon. Member of Parliament, India and MR Sanjay Singh IPS, ADG Western Zone, WB , India were present during the Webinar in-spite of their hectic schedule. We are really grateful to Prof Afzal Javed, President, World Psychiatric Society for his blessings as always. The programme was successfully concluded with the active support of Dr. Sujoy Mukherjee, General Secretary, European Association of Geriatric Psychiatry (EAGP), UK, as an excellent speaker. The Webinar was attended by many members from SAARC countries. Dr. Rajashree Roy and Dr. Debanjan Banerjee were the key persons and with the immense help from them, it was successfully organised.
